Whether it’s denial or simply not being aware of the dangers, many people aren’t taking precautions to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

While the rate of recovery is certainly higher among younger patients, that doesn’t mean younger adults can’t develop severe cases of the virus or even die. “You’re at risk no matter the age, some young people in their thirties with no underlying medical problems can be on ventilators, suffer strokes just like older patients with histories like high blood pressure & not survive.

To make an assumption that one is immune, or protected from the potentially terrible, consequences of this virus just because you’re young is a foolish assumption.

Weddings and large family parties are a few examples that turn into superspreaders. Whatever the situation, the more people there are, the higher the risk becomes. This virus is predominantly transmitted by close contact, droplets & It’s very likely that the person you’re sitting with at a table or you’re talking with for an extended period of time will transmit the virus.

To protect ourselves from contracting and spreading the virus has become a crucial part of our daily life.
